The Secret Orchestra with soloists Virginia Spiridonova (piano), Dimana Pancheva (violin), Vladimir Meranliev (violin) and Dara Pencheva (flute) – July 6 (Saturday) at 9 p.m.

The “Secret Orchestra” is a chamber orchestra composed of young musicians, laureates of numerous national and international competitions and festivals.

The idea of creating the orchestra arose in the summer of 2022, in a conversation between the young musicians whose goal was to work together as an ensemble, and a few months later it was realized. The fact that the members of the band, apart from being professionals and outstanding musicians, are close friends makes the energy during a concert indescribable and unique. The ensemble has already participated in several solo concerts and festivals.

Virginia Spiridonova

Virginia Spiridonova was born in 2010. Student at NUMSI “Pancho Vladigerov” in Yana Raycheva’s piano class. She participated in the master classes of Prof. Borislava Taneva, Prof. Michele Rossetti (Italy), Prof. Domna Evnuhidou (Greece), Prof. Paolo Poliche (Italy), Prof. Raquel Boldorini (Uruguay), Prof. Marina Plyasova (Norway- Russia), Prof. Rafael Salinas (Spain) and others.

She made her stage debut at the age of 6 at the “Cles d’Or” competition, where she was awarded with the highest prize in her age group, and subsequently won numerous prizes from international competitions in Greece, Serbia, Italy, Romania, Austria, Spain and many others.

Virginia played as a soloist of Deep Down Community, Burgas State Opera Orchestra under the baton of maestro Yordan Dafov, Gabrovo Chamber Orchestra with conductor Ivan Stoyanov, Symphony Orchestra of Athens, Greece.

Dimana Pancheva

Dimana Pancheva was born in 2010 in Burgas. At the age of 6, she was admitted to NUMSI “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” in Burgas, majoring in “Violin”.

She is an outstanding student and actively participates in the concert life of the school. She has won numerous awards from national and international competitions in Hamburg, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo and Haskovo. In 2021 and 2022, Dimana was a participant in Angelina Abadjieva’s master classes in Sozopol and played at the closing concerts of the Youth Art Festival “Solinaria”.

Vladimir Meranliev

Vladimir Meranliev was born in 2010 in London, UK. He showed interest in the violin at the age of 5, and at the age of 6 he began to receive lessons from Mrs. Lyudmila Ivanova, a violin teacher with extensive experience. A year later he was admitted to NUMSI “Prof. P. Vladigerov” in the city of Burgas, where he continues his studies. He took part in both national and international competitions, where he was awarded several prizes.

He participated in master classes of Prof. M. Minchev and Prof. A. Danailova. He has been playing a violin made in 1969 by the Bulgarian luthier Nayden Ganchev and provided for use by Mrs. R. Jagarova

Dara Pencheva

Dara Pencheva was born in 2011 in Sofia.
In 2018, he began his musical studies at the “Lyubomir Pipkov” National Music School in the flute class of Dr. Iva Lyubomirova.
To date, Dara has won numerous awards from national and international competitions, actively participates in flute master classes and performs regularly as a solo and chamber artist. Although only 12 years old, Dara has already given a solo recital and has been a soloist in several orchestras in the country.
